Card and product buybacks at Cardverse
Every card and product has a value. We assess it fairly and in person.
We buy individual Pokémon cards, complete collections and interesting sealed products. Every offer is assessed individually according to condition, demand and real-world liquidity.
From one Pokémon card to a whole collection
We buy Pokémon singles, products and complete collections only. Size is not decisive; we do not currently accept ordinary bulk, Lorcana, One Piece or any other TCG.
Large collections
We inspect larger collections and price them as a whole or in sensible groups.
Sealed products
We are also interested in attractive unopened products and price them individually.

How a buyback works
We first need to see the cards or products physically. Only after inspection can we make an offer we can stand behind.
Bring or send the cards or products
Visiting our store is best. If you live far away, you can mail the cards or products to the store address.
We inspect the cards and products in person
We verify authenticity, condition and details that photographs may not show reliably.
We make a specific offer
We start with Cardmarket Low and account for condition, liquidity, demand and our current needs.
The decision is yours
Accept or decline the offer. If you accept, choose cash, Cardverse+ credit, cards or products.
What we offer
There is no single fixed percentage
Cards sell at different speeds and every copy has a different condition. We therefore combine clear guidelines with an individual appraisal.
We do not currently buy bulk
Common, uncommon and other ordinary bulk cards are not part of our buyback programme at the moment.
Standard Double Rare / EX
Ordinary Double Rare cards, typically EX cards, are usually bought at a flat CZK 5–10 per card.
In-demand cards are priced individually
Attractive cards, popular Pokémon such as Charizard, Gengar or Pikachu, and other liquid cards receive an individual offer.
Usually 80–90%, occasionally 100% or more
Individually priced cards most often receive around 80–90% of the reference price. For an exceptional and highly liquid card, we may offer 100% or more.
Physical inspection is essential
We do not buy cards or products from photographs alone
Even good photos may conceal wear, damaged card edges and corners, or defects in sealed-product packaging. We make the final offer only when the cards or products are in our hands.
Condition changes the value
For cards, we inspect the front, back, edges, corners, surface and general wear. For products, we also assess the condition and integrity of the packaging. The same card or product can have a significantly different value depending on condition.
Photos are not enough for a binding offer
A photograph cannot reliably reveal every defect or confirm the actual condition. It may provide a rough orientation, but never replaces in-person inspection.
We assume the risk after purchase
Once the buyback is complete, storage, condition and resale are our responsibility. A careful inspection protects both sides and lets us offer a fair price.

Mail the cards or products to our store. We will inspect them after delivery and contact you with a specific offer.

We inspect and price them
Every card or product is physically inspected under the same rules we use in the store.

Accept or decline
Nothing is decided in advance. The buyback is completed only if you agree with the offer.
If we agree
We complete the buyback using your chosen settlement method and reimburse the postage to our store.
If we do not agree
We return the cards or products. Costs are split fairly: you pay delivery to us and we pay the return shipment.

You do not have to take the buyback value only as money. Choose the option that best supports your collecting.

Payment by bank transfer or in cash, depending on the specific agreement.
Other cards and products
Use the approved budget for single cards or other products from our range.

Transfer the value into Cardverse+ app credit and use it to buy other cards.
Keeping the buyback in order
Every buyback is formally recorded
The same rules apply in store and remotely. Completion requires seller identification and a signed buyback protocol.
What the protocol contains
It creates a clear record of who sold what and under which conditions.

- a list of purchased cards or products
- the agreed value and settlement method
- the seller’s declaration that they are the sole owner and the items are not proceeds of unlawful activity
Buybacks from children
We do not pay children money for buybacks. They may receive value only in other cards or products.
Trades use a budget, not a 1-for-1 swap
We first appraise the cards or products and give you a total budget to use freely within our range. A direct one-for-one exchange is not available because our offer includes inspection, operations, storage and resale risk.

Frequently asked buyback questions
Do you buy Lorcana, One Piece or other TCGs?
No. We currently buy individual Pokémon cards, Pokémon products and complete Pokémon collections only.
What percentage of the card price will I receive?
Individually priced cards most often receive around 80–90% of Cardmarket Low. This is not a fixed rate: condition, liquidity, demand and the specific card matter. We may exceptionally offer 100% or more.
Are photos enough?
No. Photos may distort condition and miss defects. We make a binding offer only after physically inspecting the cards or products.
What if we do not agree after I mail the cards or products?
We return them. You pay delivery to us and we cover the return. If we agree, we reimburse the postage to our store.
Can I choose cards or products instead of money?
Yes. Choose cards or products, Cardverse+ credit, cash or bank transfer. Non-cash options also receive an individual bonus or gift.
Do you buy collections and sealed products?
Yes. We appraise one card, a large collection or interesting sealed products. We do not currently buy ordinary bulk.
